Sizing and Extra Space at the Bottom of my G3Updated a month ago

The G3 is designed to fit a select number of guns in each size and is more customized to your specific gun than our previous versions.  You may recall the G1 and G2 versions as being size specific (sub-compacts, compact or full-size) more so then gun model specific.  The G3 with its more tapered design is designed to "hug" the firearm keeping it secure, and allows for larger firearms to be carried without worry of them leaning or rotating outwards.

While the G3 will still hold a variety of firearms for each size - please check out sizing for specific sizing- we find that the sizing of G3 is more specific and not as flexible as our previous versions G1 and G2.  We find this as an added benefit since the snugger fit will allow for quicker access and draw, the gun will be located in the same place each time, and larger capacity mags are not an issue.  We still have many sizes available to fit most handguns (and even some shotguns - tee-hee).

Still, you will need time to allow the holster to soften and form.  With average use it takes about a week to break in.

One last note - on occasion you will find "dead space" at the bottom of the G3. This is not an issue and allows room for an added suppressor.  The retention clip, no matter what size holster you choose in the G3, will only allow the gun to be seated so far / deep.  Unlike the G2 where we said to push the gun all the way to the seam at the bottom of the holster with the G3 this is not necessary or in most cases even possible.
