While we would love to provide you a more concrete response or reasons, we have always been cautious about making broad statements regarding pacemaker and magnet compatibility or even safe distances. As we are not medical professionals, we cannot offer guidance on pacemaker safety and would direct you to consult a physician for this information. Unfortunately, it's impossible for us to know, or make blanket statements about every medical device ever implanted; therefore, we discourage their use in combination. 

We do know this is a safe statement that keeps our lawyers happy but does little to provide you with information. We understand how strong our magnets are, but understanding the magnetic susceptibility of every pacemaker and ICD (implantable cardioverter defibrillator) ever implanted seemed - frankly - too daunting a task but we want to provide the best possible answer. We are working on a more concrete response and should our response change to a concrete yes we would be happy to let you know.
