I am Having Trouble with the Retention Clip / Holstering on the LockLeather HolsterUpdated 13 days ago
The click retention is fully adjustable in both the LockLeather and G3 holsters. If you are having trouble holstering or unholstering using the clip we suggest loosing or tightening the retention as needed. For example, most Glocks have a wider trigger guard and will require the retention to be opened wider while a Walther PPK as has a slimmer trigger guard requiring the retention to be more tightly closed.

In order to adjust the click retention you will need a Phillips head screwdriver to adjust the tension screw. It can be adjusted so that you feel it engage when holstering and you will usually hear a small click as the gun holsters. Do not over tighten.
The retention level is a personal preference. If it is tighter it is more secure but you will have to pull harder for the draw. Alternatively, a looser retention clip will aid in an easier draw but will not hold the firearm as securely; someplace in the middle is ideal.
If the holster has a tight fit, which it will be at first, you may speed up the break in process my putting the unloaded firearm into a plastic grocery bag and placing them together inside the holster to stretch out the leather just enough. Be sure there is no moisture in the bag so as not to cause any rusting on the firearm. Ideally you'll leave it in this position for at least 24 hours.
